Does my customer have to download an app?

No. They get a text with a payment link. They tap it, enter their card, and it's done. No app, no account, no hassle on their end.

What if a customer cancels in time — do I still charge them?

You're in control. You only charge when you tap 'Mark No-Show.' If they cancel with enough notice, you just close the appointment. No charge happens unless you initiate it.

What does the no-show fee amount have to be?

You set it. Some businesses charge a flat $50, others charge the full job rate. TackleApp lets you enter any amount per appointment.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Yes. Stripe handles the card holds and payouts. Setting up a Stripe account takes about 10 minutes and they pay out directly to your bank.

What if a customer disputes the no-show charge?

That's between you, the customer, and Stripe's dispute process — same as any card charge. Having the reminder text and card-hold record helps your case significantly.

Can I use this for crews or multiple employees?
